A new viral video has shown Nigerian soldiers allegedly scrambling
for water and food in Sambisa forest delivered by the army supply
helicopter.
According to the exclusive video by HeraldNG, the soldiers did not
mind the rotating blades of the helicopter as they rushed to scramble
for the food and water.
It is not yet clear when the video was taken. However, the latest
clip has forced Nigerians to blast army authorities as they cannot
believe the extent of suffering soldiers fighting the insurgents are
undergoing.
On Tuesday, another video went viral showing soldiers fighting Boko
Haram in Alagorno area of Borno state begging that they have starved of
food and water for three days.
The army later released a statement saying the video clip was shot
more than six months ago by some mischievous and disgruntled elements
when 29 Task Force Brigade captured Alagarno Forest and environs in
Borno State.
